Cheek creased,
Retained in posture
A bite and snare.

Investigating the intention of fold,
“To mimic where a fingerprint
Crafts identity.”

She scoffs about the obscurity of hallways,
Standing in entryways
Until her personality
Adapts to her profile.

He explains
And fro
About the influence
Of light.

But in the shade
He leaves his fingerprint.
