Noticed a Boring Novice Who Couldn’t Sleep.

If I place Anna Karenina by my cheek
And stay a loaded handgun
Onto the back of her skull,
After pulling the trigger
Will Tolstoy’s angels
Float from the exit wound?

*Mind Blown*

Angels cast no shadows.

A human is as temporary as their shadow.

O
I hear the insignificant claws of vermin
Foraging through empty cardboard boxes.
Their pick pocket meals
Sharing space with clean syringes
Facilitated
Like ghosts at a concentration camp.

O
7am I hear the incessant beeping
Of retreating city buses.
Soon the methadone fiends
Shall scuttle and sit
On those biped stains.
And the fiends will gossip
About who was there,
“ Dude. The bitch had a kid!
She had a kid! It stared at me
The whole time!”

Stop foraging for city life,
Little vermin
Like a destined connotation
Mood swings represent
An image of stagnation.
And
Society adores a beautiful quitter.
